Originally from Gonesse (95), Shayne stands out as a singular voice in the new wave of French rap. A ferocious stage performer, he fuses the codes of trap with the visceral energy of punk, shaping a sound that is both raw and forward-thinking.
Since joining the independent label COSHCO in 2023, he has steadily carved out his place within the alternative rap landscape. Shayne embraces a hybrid artistic identity where rage, ego-trip, and introspection collide. His music blends heavily processed trap with hints of cloud rap and alternative rock, creating a dense, emotional sonic universe. On stage, this world fully comes alive: performance is not just an extension of the music but the very core of his artistry, a space where intensity and control constantly confront each other.
The release of his EP CONTROL and the standout single ULTIM8 in November 2024 marked a turning point in his trajectory. Shortly after, he joined the cast of Season 4 of Rhythm + Flow on Netflix, introducing his universe to a much wider audience.
What followed was a deeply human journey marked by pressure, obstacles, and resilience. Week after week, Shayne revealed new layers of his personality and artistic vision, ultimately reaching the finals against all odds. He closed the competition with a monumental live performance that left a lasting impression on both the audience and the judges.
Now fully embracing this new chapter, Shayne returns in 2026 with RIEN NE GUÉRIT, a double EP entirely driven by his own vision. The project reinforces the unique TRAPUNK DNA that defines his work and further anchors his presence within the French rap scene. Its singles, CHAP-CHAP and BULLETPROOF, arrive with striking visuals conceived as extensions of his musical universe: raw, intense, and uncompromising.
