                    Biography
BAE B is a French rapper of Franco-Nigerian origin. As a child, he grew up at the crossroads of three worlds: the 2000s hip-hop culture he discovered through his siblings watching MTV, the classic electronic hits his mother loved like Modjo’s “Lady”, and the traditional Edo sounds of Benin City inherited from his father. Three distinct roots that would go on to shape the depth and richness of his music.
His teenage years were far from smooth. Marked by family tensions and constant moves, his life took a sharp turn at 17. After a violent confrontation with the police and a trip to the emergency room, he decided to drop out of high school and devote himself entirely to music. A pivotal meeting with Cedric Lowis steered him toward songwriting. Together, they co-founded the label COSHCO in 2019, a true launchpad for his career.
Drawing inspiration from American icons like A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Future, and Kanye West, BAE B has built a sound entirely his own: dark, raw trap charged with introspective emotion. He blends a wide range of influences to create music that feels both fresh and rooted in the energy of the 2009 to 2015 rap era.
Nothing is left to chance, whether in his music, his visual direction, or on stage. Everything is designed as a full sensory experience where every detail matters. After an intense creative process in the studio, BAE B is set to unveil his debut project COLD BOY in October 2025, the culmination of a long and deeply personal artistic journey.
