Cedric Lowis

Biography

French singer-songwriter and music producer Cedric Lowis spent part of his childhood between Nicaragua and Australia before landing in the United States. In Chicago, he started playing the violin at DePaul University and immersed himself in hip-hop and American culture. Self-taught, he then began to produce his first songs. When he returned to France at the age of 13, he met artist BAE BE BRIAN on their school’s basketball court, and both shared the ambition of making a living off of their music.

Passionate about songwriting and music production, Cedric Lowis published several remixes on Soundcloud that portrays the eclecticism of his musical affinities. At the same time, he works with many artists as a producer and songwriter. In 2019, he decided to end his studies to completely devote himself to music and founded the record label COSHCO with BAE BE BRIAN and Lenny Daniels.

Making music in a style between hip-hop and pop with a touch of electronic and alternative rock, his influences go from Kanye West to The Weekend and Shlohmo.
